Angkor Resources Corp.'s Block VIII Oil and Gas Concession Presented by Cambodian Ministry

GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALBERTA — September 15, 2026 — Leads & Copy — Cambodia's Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) has highlighted Block VIII, an onshore oil and gas concession held by Angkor Resources Corp.'s subsidiary EnerCam Resources Co., Ltd., at the International Conference on Energy Security in Penang, Malaysia. The presentation, which occurred on September 8th and 9th, showcased Cambodia's petroleum licenses, with MME positioning Block VIII as an example of the kingdom's emerging oil and gas sector development to an international audience.

EnerCam has completed 350 line-kilometers of 2D seismic surveys, identified drill targets across four sub-basins—Bokor South, Bokor Central, Bokor North, and Kirirom—and has advanced its Environmental Impact Assessment through an inter-ministerial review. The company's planned 4+1 drill program includes one exploration well in each of the four sub-basins, with a fifth well to be located based on the outcomes of the initial wells, all conducted under a Production Sharing Contract.

The discovery of a domestic oil and gas supply is a significant priority for Cambodia, which currently imports 100% of its hydrocarbon-based energy products. Block VIII, located in the southwest quadrant of Cambodia, spans approximately 4,095 square kilometers under a 30-year Production Sharing Contract with the Royal Government of Cambodia. EnerCam is actively collaborating with the MME on the tender process for a drilling contractor, which requires ministry approval before being released.

The company indicated that further updates regarding the drill program, selected drilling contractors, and well-planning advancements will be provided at regular intervals.
