IDEX Metals Corp. Finalizes Mineral Property Option Agreement and Announces Investor Relations Services Contract
Vancouver, B.C. — August 18, 2026 — Leads & Copy — IDEX Metals Corp. announced that its subsidiary, Silver Rock Resources Inc., has finalized an option agreement with WestGold Metals Corp. for three exploration properties in Idaho, USA. Under the terms, WestGold has the exclusive option to acquire a 90% interest in the Amie Project, the Silver Rock Project, and the Demming Project.
WestGold has made an initial cash payment of CAD$100,000 and issued 5,737,000 common shares to Silver Rock Resources Inc. The agreement requires WestGold to incur a minimum of C$5,000,000 in exploration expenditures on the properties over a three-year period. This includes C$1,000,000 by the first anniversary of the effective date, cumulative expenditures of C$3,000,000 by the second anniversary, and cumulative expenditures of C$5,000,000 by the third anniversary.
Upon successful exercise of the option, a joint venture will be formed, with WestGold holding a 90% participating interest and Silver Rock Resources retaining a 10% carried interest. WestGold will act as the operator and will be responsible for all joint venture costs until the commencement of commercial production.
Clayton Fisher, CEO of IDEX, stated that this transaction enables IDEX to concentrate on advancing the Freeze Project while maintaining exposure to the Amie, Silver Rock, and Demming projects. He added that WestGold's commitment to fund C$5 million in exploration provides a clear development path for these assets, with IDEX retaining a 10% carried interest.
In a separate announcement, IDEX Metals Corp. has entered into a consulting agreement with Domestique Capital Corp. to provide investor relations services. The agreement, effective August 15, 2026, has a term of six months. Domestique, based in Toronto, Ontario, will offer capital markets advisory and investor relations services, including strategy advice, introductions, and coordination of roadshows and site visits.
Under the consulting agreement, IDEX will pay Domestique $7,500 per month. Additionally, the Company will grant Domestique 200,000 stock options at an exercise price of $0.55 per share. These options will vest over a two-year period, with 25% vesting every six months. The consulting agreement and the stock option grant are subject to approval from the TSX Venture Exchange.
